Synapse Energize provides financial scenario modeling education and tools. Our programs are designed to help individuals understand financial planning concepts through practical modeling exercises.

What we offer:

• Interactive tools for creating and analyzing financial scenarios
• Documentation and guides for scenario modeling best practices

Our programs typically run for several months. The autumn 2025 cohort, for example, spans sixteen weeks starting September 2025. You'll receive specific program details when you enroll.

3. User Responsibilities and Conduct

Account Security

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Don't share your login information with others. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at info@synapseenergize.com.

Acceptable Use

Our platform is for educational purposes. You agree not to:

• Redistribute or resell our educational materials without written permission
• Use automated tools to scrape or download bulk content from our site
• Attempt to access restricted areas or bypass security measures

Academic Integrity

If you're enrolled in our programs, complete assignments independently unless group work is specified. Plagiarism or submitting others' work as your own violates these terms and may result in removal from the program without refund.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Everything on this website - the modeling tools, course materials, documentation, design elements - belongs to Synapse Energize. We've worked hard to create these resources, and they're protected by copyright laws in Bulgaria and internationally.

You can use our materials for your personal learning. You can take notes, create models for your own analysis, and apply what you learn. But you can't copy our course structure, redistribute our materials, or create derivative works based on our content without explicit permission.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect information necessary to provide our services - your name, email, payment details, and how you use our platform. This helps us improve your learning experience and communicate important updates.

Your data is stored securely and handled according to EU data protection regulations. We don't sell your information to third parties. We may share anonymized usage data in aggregate form for research purposes.

6. Payment Terms and Refunds

Program Fees

Course fees are listed in EUR on our website. Prices may change, but you'll always see the current price before enrolling. Once you pay, that rate is locked in for the duration of your program.

Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. For bank transfers to our Bulgarian account, please include your registration reference number. Processing may take 2-3 business days.

Refund Policy

You can request a full refund within seven days of enrollment if you haven't accessed more than 20% of the course materials. After that initial period, refunds are prorated based on the portion of the program completed.

No refunds are available after the program midpoint or if you've completed more than 60% of course modules. Refund requests should be sent to info@synapseenergize.com with your enrollment details.

7. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep our platform accessible 24/7, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, usually scheduled during off-peak hours, may temporarily limit access.

We continuously improve our course content and tools. This means features may change, be added, or occasionally be removed. We'll notify enrolled students of significant changes that affect their current programs.

If we need to discontinue a service you've paid for, we'll provide reasonable notice and either offer a suitable alternative or issue a prorated refund.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

Our scenario modeling tools and courses are educational. They're not financial advice, investment recommendations, or professional consulting services. The scenarios you create are learning exercises, not predictions or guarantees about financial outcomes.

No Employment Guarantees

While our programs teach valuable skills, we don't promise specific career outcomes or employment opportunities. Your success depends on many factors including your effort, background, market conditions, and how you apply what you learn.

Limitation of Liability

We're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential losses arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific program or service in question.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you depending on where you live.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

You can stop using our services anytime. Just close your account through your profile settings or email us. Paid program access continues through the end of your enrollment period even if you stop participating.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. This includes sharing credentials, engaging in prohibited activities, or behavior that disrupts the learning environment for others.

If we terminate your account for violations, you won't receive a refund. If you've completed portions of a program before termination, you may receive certificates for those completed modules at our discretion.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Our business is located in Petrich, Bulgaria, and Bulgarian courts have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.

Before filing any legal action, please contact us to try resolving the issue informally. Most concerns can be addressed through direct communication. Send detailed descriptions of problems to info@synapseenergize.com, and we'll respond within five business days.

For EU residents, you may have additional rights under consumer protection laws in your country. Nothing in these terms removes those statutory rights.

12. Changes to Services and Terms

We update our educational content regularly to reflect current best practices in financial modeling. These updates improve the learning experience for current and future students.

If we make significant changes to these terms - like modifying refund policies or data handling practices - we'll post a notice on the website for at least 30 days. For enrolled students, we'll also send email notifications.

Continuing to use our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you disagree with changes, contact us before the effective date to discuss your options.
